The problem

You're negotiating life-changing money against a professional. Don't do it alone.

The real-estate agent is paid by, and works for, the seller. They've done this hundreds of times. You haven't. A traditional buyer's agent often costs 1.5–2.5% of the purchase price, which can mean tens of thousands of dollars. Bidside is the same independent counterweight, on every listing, for the price of a streaming subscription.

Free vs full

Useful in seconds. Deeper when it matters.

Most listings only need a quick sanity check. The serious contenders deserve the full brief: grounded research, visual checks, negotiation prep, and advice tailored to the way you buy.

Free quick read

Open a listing. Get your anchor.

Before you spend a cent, Bidside gives you the price guide, its own fair-value view, and the key risks visible from the listing.

  • Fair-value range, even when the agent says "contact agent"
  • Key risks from the listing page
  • A plain-English verdict on whether to inspect, pause, or push
What Bidside reads

Six signals buyers should not have to find alone.

01

Fair value with the anchor

The agent's guide, Bidside's fair-value range, PropRadar AVM, suburb medians, and comparable sales lined up in one view.

02

Bidside Score · 100

One number across Value, Location, Risk, and Quality, with enough explanation to know why "negotiate hard" can still mean "worth pursuing".

03

Listing timeline

When the vendor last bought, what they paid, whether they've dropped the guide. The history the agent skips.

04

Floor plan and Street View

Layout, light, awkward rooms, streetscape, neighbours, busy roads, and development cues beyond the agent's curated photos.

05

Risk flags

Flood overlays, road noise, flight paths, council records, rapid-flip patterns, and location trade-offs, ranked by buyer impact.

06

Personal negotiation playbook

Your opening offer, walk-away price, and talking points, adjusted for your budget, household, suburbs, must-haves, and deal-breakers.

In the side panel

The brief does not make you wait in silence.

Bidside starts with the quick read, then unlocks the full brief progressively. The buyer gets something useful fast, and the richer sections arrive as the checks complete.

Advice that knows the brief

$1.4m - $1.7m Young family North-facing No main roads

Bidside applies the buyer's budget, household, preferred suburbs, must-haves, and deal-breakers when judging fit and negotiation posture.

Product states shown are illustrative. Property data varies by listing and by the public sources available.

The AI

An AI you'd actually hire.

Not a chatbot. Not a content generator. Bidside is a purpose-built buyer's analyst that turns messy listing signals into a practical view on price, risk, fit, and negotiation.

READS

Listings, plans and signals

Reads the listing, specs, photos, floor plan, timeline, available location data, and external market signals.

GROUNDS

In real data

Uses available public records, PropRadar data, suburb context, Street View, and listing evidence instead of inventing certainty.

TAILORS

To your search

Applies your buyer profile so the brief can flag what matters to you, not just what matters in a generic suburb report.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What does Bidside actually do?
When you open a listing on realestate.com.au or domain.com.au, Bidside slides in alongside the page. The free quick read gives you a price anchor and key risks fast. The full brief adds comparable sales, a 0–100 score, listing history, floor-plan critique, Street View, location checks, and a negotiation plan.
Which sites does Bidside work on?
Right now, the two big ones: realestate.com.au and domain.com.au. We're focused on getting the depth right on these before expanding. Between them they cover ~95% of for-sale listings in Australia.
Is the AI making things up?
Bidside grounds the brief in the listing, available public records, PropRadar data, suburb context, maps, visual checks, and your buyer profile. When a source is missing or confidence is lower, the brief should say so rather than pretending to know.
How is this different from a real buyer's agent?
A human buyer's agent can inspect, negotiate, and represent you directly. Bidside does not replace that. It gives you the research counterweight most buyers cannot otherwise afford: price analysis, risk checks, fit against your needs, and negotiation prep on every listing.
Will the listing agent know I'm using it?
No. Bidside runs entirely in your browser, never sends data back to the listing portal, and the page itself can't see the side panel.
Is this financial advice?
No. Bidside is informational analysis. We don't hold a financial services licence and we don't pretend to. Before buying any property, get advice from a licensed buyer's agent, conveyancer, building inspector, and lender. Bidside helps you walk into those conversations better prepared.
